My name is Peter Davis, I'm the sole driving instructor and owner of Illawarra Driver Training.  I had over 15 years experience in the Automotive industry before becoming a licenced driving instructor. First becoming a qualified car mechanic then working my way up to ultimately become the Service Manager of a luxury car dealership.  My technical experience allows me to teach my students from the perspective of someone who understands the car and the best way to operate it safely.   

Personally, I'm a family man, married with 2 young kids. I love sports and spending time with family and friends. I became a driving instructor because I enjoy teaching people new things and it gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge of cars with others.      

I'm very passionate about my job, nothing beats the satisfaction of being with one of my students when they first start driving, learn to park for the first time and ultimately pass their driving test. I always plan lessons that my students will be comfortable with, tailored to individual needs and progressing at their pace. It's important to me that every student feels comfortable behind the wheel.
